Call to Action - Mental Health Check

This is a calling to every single person, from all religions and countries. You can be a politician or a CEO, or my next-door neighbor. This is a calling to secretaries, teachers, students and society in its entirety. The message is simple: STOP THE HATE. GET YOUR MENTAL HEALTH IN CHECK. START LOVING TODAY. War, drug dealing, homicides, abuse, fraud, disloyalty, anger, control, hunger, depression, slavery – all of these become ingrained within our DNA, we have passed these notions from generation to generation and now, the 90s babies are going to be dealing with a lot of anger and hate from all over the place. It is not just the people treating each other, the laws, the system; everything is created to cause a degree of stress. This stress has become central to our nervous system and an entire generation is now suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, addicted to medication to alleviate mental problems that are supposed to be dealt with by having others around you help you, support and lead you in the right direction.
However, today’s media frenzy has deteriorated this social bond we humans need to survive and has replaced it with consumption and capitalist agendas. Behind all of the wars, crimes, abuse cases, there is a touch of materialistic need. Everyone is society seems to forget that the most important things in life are not material but human in nature. The human-to-human experience can be beneficial for the soul of each person involved, regardless of how we look at it; we need each other to live mentally healthy lives. Then, why are so many people alone? Why is there so much hate? Why are there so many indifferences to feelings and so much attention placed on the attainment of wealth and material things?
It is important to recognize that the next generation will be even more detached from the human contact, will be insecure in fact about approaching other people in person. The new technological wave of dependency on a monitor has conditioned this generation to believe that it is the end to all means when in fact it is not. Nevertheless, this sentiment will be carried through to the next generation leaving behind the concept of human connections as well. When there is no love and only hate, people become what they feel the most and there will be no end in sight to wars, famine, death, hurting each other in the streets, no end to the way we treat each other, abusive behavior will be normal while loving behaviors will be considered strange.
We are entering an era of desperate need for human connections and its paradox inability to be accomplished. It has become a game of who is right wing or correct. We have become robots in the game of the market and have become dependent on it for self-esteem, and this is incredible. How are we ever going to depend on an object, especially one that will brake in a matter of years? And, all of this, while detaching themselves purposely from other people. People need each other, this is a survival instinct. We must mate, therefore, we must meet. It is as simple as that. Why is the world becoming so afraid of letting the social realm be one with itself? Why are people striving to live further, to divorce, to fight, to anger their families, to abuse each other, to take advantages of one another and not to love each other? Where is the love, people? I am not sure if it is the technology, the drugs, the crimes or simply a matter of not taking care of our mental health and human connections.
A lack of human connections leads to mental health problems; these problems are then apparent on a physical level and cost even more money to deal with. Why not join the fight and let us helping one another out? Let us start innovating ways not to build another war ship but thousands of medical centers for all of us where our mental health is assessed and we can be sure that we will be good to other people. Let us begin changing our ways so our kind has some hope for the future. Soon enough, humans will be nothing but robotic consumption experts and continue to kill in the name of money simply because of the DNA inheritance of evil and hate. It is that simple, our species is almost gone and we need to savage it by simply adding some love to our lives. Let us start talking to each other, discussing things, having manners and stop the hate.
This calling then is just a desperate move on our part to bring back the love to our hearts, to bring back that sense of belonging we are all missing in one sense of another, and to bring us all together closer. We can no longer live like this and if we do continue in this path, for sure reproduction will cease and the world will be at its end, or at least the human kind will end. How sad it would be for us to disappear simply because we lacked a bit of affection for one another! How sad it would be that we all became products, numbers, price tags and worthless moving bodies! Why can’t we all just get along? Why can't war end? Why do Jews fight with the Muslims and vice-versa? And, we can go on and on about the questions we have as to why we all just hate each other so much. But, the answer is within us. We can overcome this; we can help the next generation and help our species survive. If we simply stopped counting money, took care of our mental health and loved one another a little more, we could make a huge difference in the end result of our own kind.
